Hello everyball and everycabbage!
Even as heat ravages our lands, development continues and so must the updates!
First of all the recent merch campaign has been successful, thanks to all the supporters of Cheese and Keychain Lea!
As for the update on development, we can share progress on the next area (including the dungeon), new weapon abilities and various quality of life features! And also information regarding our attendance at the upcoming Gamescom!
Swamp and Dungeon
Mapping of the new Swamp Area has been largely wrapped up, so the area is currently filled with enemies to fight and puzzles to solve!
The main focus now lies on the next major dungeon which will include a bunch of new enemies, lots of puzzles and boss fights! Here a small preview:
New Weapons and Combos
As for Juno’s arsenal, we extended the combo abilities of the Kama, a late addition in the current Early Access version, and the Spear, which can be obtained in the upcoming version.
And Speaking of Kama: Filia is now also pulled with you when moving between kama hooks.
Here some work-in-progress footage showing all of this in motion:

More Infos for Rogue Powers
We got a lot of feedback for Somu’s Dream and we would like to make a separate post to really dive into it on another day but we still want to show at least a little bit. For instance the new context help that was much requested
Any Blessing that requires a bit more context now display an info panel that hopefully helps players understand certain mechanic and aspects better.
This will be an ongoing project and we will add more context as needed.
Map Markers and more
We heard you wanted map markers? Well would you look at that!
Starting in the next update you’ll be able to set (almost) as many markers as you like!
Another frequent request was to make structures more clear on the world map, so we sat down and updated our system to allow us to add more color into the map.
This is an ongoing task and you’ll likely see more changes like these in later updates. Also: We’ve updated the colors to make higher places more visible (looking at you, Remis Rock).
Glossary Menu
We are aware a lot of you are wondering about the world and want a way to dive deeper into the lore of AD and we’re happy to say that we started work on the “Glossary”.
Here you’ll be able to read all about the world of Tiran Sol (and more….)
Entries are either automatically unlocked or found by exploration. Unfortunately this will not be quite ready for the next update. Turns out compiling all the world building into a menu takes a lot of time!
The Dojo
Introducing a new place to practice!
The Dojo is a dream-like space accessible from ANY Waysprout and gives you the ability to freely bash enemies without losing HP or running out of Divine Charges.
Over time, more enemy types become available via special “Records” hidden throughout Tiran Sol. Once an enemy is unlocked by spending a few of their essences, you can practice against it as much as you please.
German Localization
We have long been getting many requests for additional languages for our very text heavy game. Now we can at least confirm a full translation in German, our native language!
You might assume that we are just doing it ourselves, but an adequate translation is very time consuming, even to a native speaker. That’s why we partnered up with the experienced folk at Locadile who have already been doing a great job translating our text into German!
So we are planning to add the German translation to the next release… And who knows, maybe more languages will follow in the future?
Radical Fish at Gamescom 2026
Just like in the last years, Radical Fish Games will be attending Gamescom from the 26th until the 30th of August 2026, so we’ll be here for the whole event this time, including the weekend!
Once again, we’ll have a booth where you can test a showcase build of Alabaster Dawn (similar to last year) and meet some of us – the developers!
You’ll find us in Hall 10.2, Booth D042! See you there!
The Upcoming 0.2.0 Release
Now, our plan was to finish and release the next version in August 2026 and with our current rate of progress, finishing until the end of the month would be a realistic goal.
However, new releases with fresh content usually come with a lot of bug reports and player feedback that will need to be addressed, which would be hard to do when we release shortly before visiting Gamescom.
For that reason, the 0.2.0 update will be slightly delayed towards early September!
In turn you can expect a meaty update with plenty of new content to play through.
So… hopefully the wait will be worth it!
And that’s all for today. Until September!

One Comment
It fills me with happiness to have the opportunity to experience the game growing and moving towards completion.
The markers, the glossary and even the dojo feel so nostalgic that just a picture is already enough to put a smile on my face.
Whishes of success for your next participation on gamescom and see you on v0.2.0.
