Hello everyball!
We wanna remind you real quick that the first public demo of Alabaster Dawn is almost upon us! To be precise, the release day will be the September the 18th, 3pm CET!
Demo Content
This demo version features two parts.
The first part will feature the actual beginning of the game including a prologue that we have thus kept secret! Any saves made within this part will be compatible with the full game.
The second part will skip ahead in the story to showcase several highlights including a part of a dungeon. Any saves within this part will be reset back to the end of the first part when loaded in the full game, so you won’t miss any of the skipped content.
Overall this demo version features:
- A playtime of around 1.5 – 2.5 hours
- 2 melee weapons and 2 range weapons with their own skill trees and combos
- 9 enemy types
- 4 boss enemies
Our Time at Gamescom 2025
Some weeks ago, from the 20th to 23th of August, we once again visited Gamescom in Cologne to present a (shorter) demo of our game as part of a shared booth with other indies from our region.
We are at #Gamescom!

As usual, the booth was very lively and many people came to play and give feedback. Overall, the reception was very positive, from CrossCode fans and newcomers alike!
We also got some very special visitors! Not one, not two, but in fact three cosplayers of Alabaster Dawn!
Impressive work and dedication, especially before any public release! They even have glowing parts!
